of CPT Changes Archives should you buy?

2008 Update software contains the entire CPT Changes 2008 book
and loads directly with your existing software. This CD-ROM will
update your current version so that it will now contain all
changes through 2008. However, You
must have CPT
Changes 2000-2007 to run this
update. If you do not already own the CPT
Changes 2000-2007 edition,
this update is not for you. Choose instead the following option.
CPT
Changes 2000-2008 software CD-ROM is complete through 2008
and fully functioning without a previous version already
existing on your computer or network. Powered
by a high-speed search engine, this user-friendly information
provides you full search capabilities for the full text through
2008. If you already own CPT
Changes 2000-2007, and you wish to update the following
year, you need only purchase the 2008
updates.

How many networked users do you
have? Choose your version of CD-ROMs by how many staff will actually need to access this
software (number of user log-in names). All CD-ROMs come in 3 versions - for 1 user, for 2 to 5
users, or for 6 to 10 users.
Please remember that the
government no longer allows a grace period for annual code sets.
The new HIPAA
Transaction and Code Set Rule requires providers to use national
medical code sets that are valid at the time that a service is
provided. ICD-9-CM code revisions become effective October 1st each
year while CPT and HCPCS code revisions become effective January
1st. In order for you to meet this requirement, you must have the
revised CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM codes in your possession before the
implementation dates. The best way to do this is to order your code
books early.
