Organized around four central themes in healthcare ethics (theoretical foundations and issues for individuals, organizations, and society), Health Care Ethics: Critical Issues for the 21st Century builds upon the wisdom and forward thinking of the first edition.

This edition has been thoroughly updated and revised. Each chapter features current examples and introduces new thought-provoking concepts. Additional experts in bioethics, long-term care, health administration, and other areas have added further new content to existing chapters. New chapters covering important contemporary topics such as the ethics of spirituality and of disaster response have also been added.
