Gerald L. Glandon, PhD is professor and chair of the Department of Health Services Administration at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is also the interim program director for the Health Informatics Program.

Detlev H. Smaltz, PhD, FACHE, FHIMSS is the chief information officer (CIO) at the Ohio State University Medical Center. A former vice-chair of the HIMSS Board of Directors, he has over 20 years experience as a CIO in the healthcare industry.

Donna J. Slovensky, PhD, RHIA, FAHIMA is a professor and interim associate dean in the School of Health Professions at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

 

Charles J. Austin, Ph.D. is a retired university professor and administrator. He has served in numerous academic leadership positions including President of East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University, Commerce), Vice President for Academic Affairs at Georgia Southern University, and Dean of Graduate Studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
