It's now no longer a question of whether health care outcomes and selected processes will be measured and the findings published for public access - it's a question of when.

Deliver outstanding patient care and comply with The Joint Commission's standards for Performance Improvement

Performance Improvement: Winning Strategies for Quality and Joint Commission Compliance is a book and bonus CD-ROM that emphasizes the National Patient Safety Goals and other emerging challenges.

It also includes new content covering Performance Improvement (PI) tracers, public reporting, and pay-for-performance as it relates to performance improvement.

Learn how to build and manage your PI program. It’s not enough to gather data. The analysis of your data is being scrutinized more closely than ever before—all Joint Commission surveys now include a system tracer to assess how well data is used in the organization. Your performance improvement framework must convert data to information that can be used effectively in the decision-making process.

You are not alone. Many organizations struggle with performance improvement, especially producing evidence that patient safety improvement is a continuous effort, demonstrating compliance with all NPSGs, taking a proactive approach to high-risk processes, and responding promptly to adverse outcomes with sentinel event–related issues. Get the tools you need in a new, easy-to-use format.

Performance Improvement: Winning Strategies for Quality and Joint Commission Compliance goes beyond explaining what is needed for compliance with Joint Commission requirements.
