Fun, engaging, effective, interactive, and low-cost - that's how you describe a successful education program.

After the enormous amount of time, energy, and resources invested in the pursuit of ANCC Magnet Recognition Program status, some applicants miss out on the designation because of a single crippling factor: They lack the culture of nursing excellence.

You can't create the culture overnight, so don't try to use a blitz approach to education as the countdown to the site visit begins. Help develop and sustain your culture by activating your educational efforts from day one. You can entertain while you teach with Ready, Set, Designation! It offers the best, most effective training tools that entertain while they teach. They sustain staff interest and remind them of key issues at the same time.

This must-have training tool provides a variety of entertaining educational methods. Each method can be customized to your organization and used over and over in many different ways.

Cultivate a culture that embodies the 14 Forces of Magnetism with organization wide training. To succeed every step of the way throughout the journey, the initiative must be supported from the outset by all employees. And, during the site visit, appraisers will spend a lot of time on the floor with your staff to determine whether your culture reflects the highest quality of nursing excellence. That means you must make sure that staff at all levels and in all disciplines are knowledgeable about the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program and demonstrate your facility's commitment to quality and professionalism.

This educational activity for 4 nursing contact hours is provided by HCPro, Inc. HCPro is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation.

With Ready, Set, Designation! you'll also get:

  • Descriptions and examples of TOOLS, GAMES, EVENTS, and other creative ideas to create and sustain a culture of nursing excellence in fun and memorable ways, such as Wheel of Nursing.
