This is your complete relative value scale developed with direct physician input.

Relative Values for Physicians is a complete relative value system established by surveys of physicians in all specialties, nationwide. With this tool you can establish, defend and negotiate fees for medical and surgical procedures with the same relative values used by many insurance companies:

  • Feel confident and assured of a non-biased relative value scale. Relative value scale based on physician survey data. Relative values are based on the actual clinical work performed and are not influenced by Medicare budget issues.

  • Access RVUs from one resource based on services that are similar. RVP values for nearly all CPT® codes are included to help determine medical and surgical fees.

  • Easily develop and analyze fee schedules. Approximately 98 percent of values for procedures are included. Set your fees, analyze capitation contracts, and perform cost, profitability and productivity analyses. Follow easy, step-by-step instructions for practice management.

  • This tool is free from government budgetary influence. Use relative values based on time and clinical skill needed to perform a procedure.

Please remember that the government no longer allows a grace period for annual code sets. The new HIPAA Transaction and Code Set Rule requires providers to use national medical code sets that are valid at the time that a service is provided. ICD-9-CM code revisions become effective October 1st each year while CPT and HCPCS code revisions become effective January 1st. In order for you to meet this requirement, you must have the revised CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9-CM codes in your possession before the implementation dates. The best way to do this is to order your code books early. Review current coding resources.
