Finally, a resource that provides you with the 50 must-have policies and procedures to comply with the JCAHO standards and state license regulations - in a format you can customize for your own facility.

Now more than ever before, JCAHO surveyors will scrutinize your organization's policies and procedures.

Sixty percent of the JCAHO survey process focuses on the tracer methodology. That means that you need to have your core policies constantly available as surveyors may request them at any time while reviewing a patient's history. Unfortunately, most organizations continue to struggle with the task or writing effective, concise policies.

Under the new scoring guidelines, you also need to show that each of your policies and procedures has been in place for at least 12 months. And don't forget state regulations concerning your policies and procedures.

There is no need to start from scratch when the work has already been done for you. This practical, time-saving tool will provide you with the 50 core policies and procedures that are essential to your organization's success. You can be confident that these policies stand up to both JCAHO scrutiny and your state license regulations.

You'll receive these 50 core policies in both print and electronic formats allowing you to easily customize each for your organization. You can use the CD-ROM to customize any form or policy provided.

Simplicity is the key to effective policies and procedures. Each sample policy and procedure in The 50 Essential JCAHO Survey Policies and Procedures book and CD-ROM lists the elements you need to meet state and accreditation requirements. As a result, you'll end up with the most concise, effective policies possible.

Save time and resources with sample forms and tools. In addition to the 50 policies and procedures, you'll also receive best practice forms and tools that will save you time including:
