To positively influence your organization’s Medicare funding and quality of care, you need a go-to-guide to help with every angle of MDS completion.

Written for an MDS Coordinator by an MDS expert, the MDS Coordinator’s Field Guide is a resource for both new and seasoned coordinators. Written by leading industry expert Rena Shephard, MHA, RN, FACDONA, RAC-C, you can rely on this guide to cover every angle of MDS completion, from MDS coding and timing to scheduling. Skilled nursing facilities continue to struggle with the completion and submission of the Minimum Data Set (MDS). And it is up to the MDS coordinators to not only complete the MDS but also to interact effectively with nursing home staff regarding the resident assessment instrument (RAI) in order to obtain reimbursement for the facility’s services. Not an easy task.
