Joel M. Blau, CFP is the President of MEDIQUS Asset Advisors, Inc. a national financial and investment advisory firm founded in 1996. Prior to forming the firm, Joel was Vice President and Senior Financial Counselor for AMA Investment Advisers, L.P., an affiliate of the American Medical Association. Joel has extensive experience in the analysis and design of financial plans and strategies for health care professionals. His areas of expertise include wealth preservation through estate tax planning, retirement, investment, and insurance planning. A certified financial planner, Joel earned his bachelor s degree in business from Drake University, with a major in finance and a specialization in investments. His monthly financial articles appear in state, county and national medical specialty society publications as well as several health care industry magazines. Joel is also the co-author of a book published by the AMA titled, Medical Practice Divorce. Joel is a well-respected public speaker and delivers financial seminars for the American Medical Association as well as other professional medical associations, hospitals, and clinics across the country. Recognized as one of the top financial planners for physicians by Medical Economics magazine, he is a member of the Institute of Certified Financial Planners and holds various securities and insurance licenses.

Ronald J. Paprocki, J.D., CFP is the Chief Executive Officer of MEDIQUS Asset Advisors, Inc., a national financial and investment advisory firm that specializes in assisting and advising physicians and health care professionals. Before co-founding MEDIQUS in 1996, Ron was the Vice President of AMA Investment Advisers, L.P., an affiliate of the American Medical Association. Ron has been responsible for the analysis and design of individual financial situations for health care professionals, closely held business owners and high level executives. Ron's areas of expertise include retirement, investment, and estate planning. A certified financial planner and registered securities principal, Ron earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law and his bachelor s degree from Knox College. In addition, he holds other various securities, insurance and professional licenses. Ron is a regular contributor to Medical Economics magazine, and is frequently quoted in the Chicago Tribune and has appeared on CNBC.
